Dear SMC 2006 Attendees:

We have chosen four of the finest hotels in Taipei for your accommodations. Because Oct. 10 is the National Day of Taiwan, participants are kindly advised to reserve hotel accommodation as early as possible. Please choose the one which best suits your needs. Information relevant to making the reservation is also listed below for your reference.

• Please use the access code (password) “smc06” when making reservations with the hotels, if applicable.
• If you encounter any problems in making your reservation, please contact the hotel of your choice directly for further assistance.
• To receive special rates for accommodation at the hotels listed via the on-line system, you must successfully make reservations before the cutoff date of Sep. 1, 2006 for reservation of rooms. The posted rates are not guaranteed for reservations made after the cutoff date.
• The check-in and check-out time might vary for different hotels. Please check the terms and conditions with the hotel of your choice.
• Free shuttle bus services are available between the conference venue and the hotels listed during the conference period.
